“तिळगुळ घ्या गोड गोड बोला”…
Makar Sankranti is a Hindu festival celebrated all over India in many different ways on the 14th day of January. Makar Sankranti is celebrated with different names and customs in different parts of India. The students of Prestige Public School CBSE and Prestige Kids celebrated Makar Sankranti to enable the children to understand the importance of how and why the festival is celebrated.
Our Pre Primary students were dressed in black; sweets prepared from sesame seeds (Til) and Jaggery (gud) were distributed to all the students and were also brought by kids for teachers.
Teachers and students together flew kites and enjoyed it very much.
